Six MORE days! OMG...
Random Fact: My favorite Thai food. Being a waitress, I always get asked what do I like to eat...well, what Thai food I really like to eat.
Here's a few:
| Fried fish (especially if it's with garlic and pepper) |
| Grang Kiew Wan (Green Sweet Curry) I usually make it into something called "Kaow-Nom Jeen" which literally translates into Chinese Dessert (?!) What it really is, is just the curry w/ rice noodles |
| Kraadoong Moo Tord (Fried Pork Spare Ribs)--has to be cooked w/ garlic to be DE-licious! |
| Sai Krok Eesarn (Eesarn Sausage)--from the north-east of Thailand, where Laos and Thailand meets...this is very spicy, but so good! |
| Nam Thok (my favorite--literally translated into Waterfall (IDK y)) it's a barbecue beef/pork salad |
| Larb--a northeastern dish of ground meat (usually and traditionally uncooked, but more modern for cooked) w/ mint leaves and red onions--really spicy and sour |
| Oh, ho, Big Daddy in the house! It's Tom Yum Goong! (Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup) a Thai classic and a Thai must for everyone! |
| And, of course, dessert. My favorite dessert...EVER: Ruam Mit. It's tapioca balls, various coconut jellies, and jackfruit in coconut milk. So sweet, and so diverse...it's a party in my mouth, literally! |
But, with Thai food, there are so many delicious dishes, even if you're more of a sweet and sour person. It doesnt matter what kind of flavor you're looking for, Thai food has all of it--from savory-sweet, savory-sour, hot-sweet, and any other combination you're looking for. There is no bad thai food...
